UfuCoffee Celebrates Official Launch
UfuCoffee, one of Wexford towns newest coffee shops, was very well supported on Wednesday 7th September by the business people of Wexford, when they, together with Wexford Chamber, hosted a Business After Hours networking evening to officially launch the opening of UfuCoffee.
The event was a great chance for the 50 plus guests to network and socialise with other businesses in County Wexford over a coffee and tasty bites, while celebrating the achievements of a new local business!
Located in the revitalised business hub of Clonard Village Centre, UfuCoffee opened its doors in May 2017 to service the Clonard Village Centre and surrounding areas with a fresh new approach to a local coffee shop, offering fresh roasted coffee, breakfasts, salads and breads together with Stable Diet Scones fresh daily and a range of sweet delights, with takeaway options – and all in a relaxed surrounding over two floors.
Commenting on the transformation of Clonard Village over the past 12 months, Karl Fitzpatrick President of Wexford Chamber said, “I am delighted to see the confidence that many new businesses, like UfuCoffee, have to set up here in Clonard Village, Wexford town and also to see some established companies relocating their businesses to Clonard Village.”
“I am always speaking to people regarding the threat of online businesses and the fact that so many businesses are being damaged or under threat by the likes of Amazon and eBay, but there is certainly one thing for sure, and that is coffee shops have no threat from the online market. We will always want to go somewhere to meet friends, family or colleagues over a cup of coffee,” concluded Karl. Karl wished owners Margaret Caulfield and Colin Terry every success for the future.
Commenting on the number of people in attendance to support this very event, Margaret Caulfield, UfuCoffee said, “To date we are so happy with the response from our customers and are extremely thankful for all the support we are receiving, not just from local businesses here in Clonard Village but also from the wider business community . We endeavour to continue to provide great coffee, food and friendly service.”
Open seven days a week, UfuCoffee also provide a take-away catering service to corporate and private clients. Free parking can be found at the rear of the building with a door opening off the carpark for easy access.
All attendees on the evening were entered into a draw and the lucky winner of breakfast for two people in UfuCoffee was Annette Stacey of Wexford Local Development.
