Zurich Celebrates 10 years in Wexford!
Wexford Chamber congratulates Zurich who recently celebrated their 10th year in Wexford.
Starting with a core staff of 12 employees in 2008, Zurich has grown to employ over 200 staff in their Wexford base. Over these 10 years Zurich has not only supported the local community with employment opportunities but also by supporting the wider local business and social community.
Initiatives such as Tackle your Feelings, Community Week, and Time to Read showcase the emphasis Zurich puts into their ethos of corporate social responsibility.
While marking their 10th birthday in Green Acres restaurant, CEO Anthony Brennan and CEO EMEA region Patrick Manley of Zurich made a donation of €20,000 to local charity group Windmill Therapeutic Training Unit, a group who provide much needed day services to support adults with intellectual disability.
Niall Reck, President of Wexford Chamber said, ‘ On behalf of Wexford Chamber I would like to take this opportunity to not only congratulate Zurich on their 10 year milestone but also acknowledge and thank them for the ongoing support they have shown the chamber and the business community in Wexford and I wish them continued success and growth in Wexford’.
