Wexford Fringe 2015 Window Display Competition
We would like to invite you to take part in our Window Display Competition 2015. Sponsored by Wexford Credit Union, this year’s competition is open to everybody in business along Wexford’s Main Street, side streets and Quay.
Windows should be dressed in a style that reflects the events and festive atmosphere of the town. The theme is up to you! Focus on the arts; music, dance, opera, comedy, drama and/or visual art. Or centre your display on anything that inspires the imagination, topical/newsworthy issues, satire etc – feel free to express your creative side and contribute to the electric ambience of the town while you’re at it! You may even get inspiration from one of the many events that are featured in the 2015 Festival Fringe, Wexford Festival Opera or Spiegeltent Festival. The choice is yours!!
Please have your windows dressed by Monday 19th October to coincide with Wexford Fringe events and in good time for the Opening Night of the Wexford Festival Opera (Wednesday 21st October). Judging will take place with results announced at the Wexford Credit Union Prize Giving Ceremony on Friday 23rd October, at 6 pm.
Confirmation of entry into this year’s competition must be received no later than Friday 16th October. The Entry Form (attached) must be completed and returned to Wexford Chamber, Wexford Co. Council Depot, Whitemill Industrial Estate, Wexford together with the €30 fee which can be paid by credit card, cheque or cash.
