Job Shadow Day is a national project bringing people with disabilities and local employers together for one day to highlight the positive contribution people with disabilities can and do make at work. All kinds of employers, businesses and organisations can take part, big or small, in the private, public or non-profit sector.
Job Shadow Day affords a person with a disability the opportunity to gain an insight into the world of work by shadowing an employee as they go about their normal working routine.
Wexford Chamber is delighted to have the opportunity to work on this very important community initiative and looks forward to engaging with our Members in order that we can give people with disabilities the opportunity to spend a few hours within business organisations shadowing an employee. A “win win” situation for everybody concerned and an initiative that the Chamber will certainly engage in.
Rehab Care & National Learning Network in association with the Wexford Chamber of Commerce invite you & your company to offer an opportunity for a person with a disability to Shadow you or your business for One Day during the week of 24th to 28th April, 2017.
If you would like to be part of this excellent project, or would like more information please contact Wexford Chamber or Sarah at Rehab Care or Mary at National Learning Network:
