Billy Sweetman, PwC Partner
Billy will share his views on the impact of the Budget on businesses, with a particular focus on the global forces that are shaping budgetary policy. Billy leads the Wexford team at PwC, and provides audit and business advisory services to both indigenous and multinational companies.
Brian Hogan, PwC Senior Tax Manager
Brian will provide his views on the impact of the Budget on individual tax payers. Brian works with a broad range of indigenous Irish businesses, multinational clients and public bodies on issues relating to corporate tax, VAT and RCT.
Ray Griffin, Lecturer at WIT School of Business
Ray Griffin will explore the prospects and potential for the South East region’s economy, in the context of budget 2020 and the Ireland 2040 plans. A lecturer in strategy at WIT School of Business, Ray teaches on WIT’s MBA and DBA programmes. Perhaps best known for his commentary on the regional economy his academic research explores the labour market. An Irish Research Council alumni, Ray was recently awarded €3.5m by the EU to fund his new work on algorithms to visualise employment data.
