Work in Wind, Wexford

County Wexford Chamber is collaborating with Wind Energy Ireland to bring Wexford’s first wind energy job and education fair in September.

Targeting secondary school students, the Fair is taking place on Tuesday 24th September in Gorey.

The Work in Wind, Wexford event will showcase employers from across the industry as well as third level colleges and training providers. This is an excellent opportunity for students to find out about the varied roles available in the industry –  www.workinwind.ie – and see first-hand via interactive activities and demos what these jobs involve.

Did you know there is a skills gap in the wind industry, with thousands of jobs to fill now and into the future?

Exhibitors at the event will talk to students about these gaps and offer inspiration for their next steps.
Employers exhibiting on the day include
SSE
Siemens Gamesa
Enercon
Vestas
RWE
Nordex
WWETB
SETU
DKIT
National Maritime College of Ireland
DECC
MARA
ASL
Codling

Ocean Winds
Future Energy Ireland

…  and more

This is not a public event – County Wexford Chamber will liaise directly with secondary schools.
