Fáilte Ireland will be borrowing the ‘Google Trekker’ over the next three months to capture many of Ireland’s remotest tourism beauty spots which haven’t yet been captured by Google Street View.
Over the next several week’s, we will be literally putting some of our most beautiful sights on the map by capturing footage of many places people have not been able to see online before.

As well as our exciting partnership with Google, this month also saw us partner with Today FM for an outside broadcast in Waterford as part of our Discover Ireland Campaign. There was another fantastic accolade for Dublin this week as it was named ‘favourite worldwide city’ proving it’s a destination that offers unforgettable experiences to the young adventurous traveller. This week we also hosted a group of influential overseas media to experience the ‘Game of God’s’ as they were treated to a weekend of Irish Hurling.
