Ferrybank Motors in Wexford has been awarded the coveted Opel Dealer of the Year 2024 accolade. The directors of Ferrybank Motors, John and Wendy O’Rourke, were presented with the trophy to much applause at the annual Opel Dealer Conference in Frankfurt, Germany. The three-day conference took in a visit to the Opel Classic Collection in celebration of Opel’s 125-year milestone in 2024, together with an exciting future product reveal, at Opel’s headquarters in Russelsheim.

Celebrating almost 60 years of Opel business in 2024, Ferrybank Motors was first established by the late Frank O’Rourke and his wife, Mary, in 1967. In recognition of their loyalty to the Opel Brand, John and Wendy were also presented with a Longevity Award in July by Opel’s global CEO, Florian Huettl, when he visited Opel Ireland for a business review.

Backed by decades of dedication to the Opel brand, Ferrybank Motors topped the polls across the set criteria to win the Opel Dealer of the Year 2024 title: retail sales achievement, New Vehicle and Aftersales customer satisfaction, parts business, and marketing actions.

Ferrybank Motors upholding Opel brand standards
