We have been in operation for almost 50 years and are located in Ferrycarrig, just outside Wexford town on the R730 just off the N11. We work with all insurance companies for hassle free direct billing, taking the stress out of your automotive repairs.
Vehicles are repaired to the highest of standards by our team of qualified panel repairers, all work is quality tested after repair to ensure that vehicles are restored to the pre-damage condition.
Husband and wife team of Declan and Bernie Power have successfully managed this business for the past 43 years, constantly expanding and growing with the needs of the market and government legislation. Their daughter Louise who has worked part time for the garage since she was a teenager has now taken over Management of the business.
In 2020 during the COVID Pandemic Ferrycarrig Autobody Repairs were successful in expanding our business. We have diversified into a new area of Alloy Wheel Refurbishment by opening “The Alloy Wheel Hub”. We have invested in a CNC Lathe which is used to refurbish damaged, scratched or corroded diamond cut alloy wheels. These are the type of wheel that are found on most new vehicles and our Lathe helps restore them to factory condition without having to replace the wheel or settle for a repair which reduces the appearance and value of the wheel. Our specialised equipment enables us to repair and upgrade most types of alloy wheel, giving our customers a new car feel without having to upgrade the car.
What we do
We provide a holistic service beginning at the site of the accident and finishing when the satisfied customer drives out of the garage.
We provide a 24 hour recovery service collecting the vehicle from the accident site.
We provide a computerised estimate free of charge, using the latest estimating repair systems and attach necessary photographs in order to make the process more efficient for insurance companies.
We provide complementary storage for vehicles in our secure monitored compound pending repairs.
We deal with correspondence from insurance accessors and car owners making communications easy and more efficient.
We repair vehicles to the manufactures standard following the latest guidelines and using our state of the art equipment.
Vehicles are sprayed using water based paints following international standards and all paint is mixed onsite to ensure the highest standard of colour matching.
All vehicles are sprayed in our state of the art spray booth which gives better paint adhesion, minimal dust or dirt inferences and smoother finish.
