THIS SURVEY IS FOR OWNER/MANAGERS OF SME’S IN IRELAND
The following survey relates to research that is being undertaken as part of a Masters thesis in International Entrepreneurship Management at the University of Limerick and in a report for the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (SBCI). The aim of this thesis is to look into the funding of SME’s in Ireland and to identify if there are any gaps. In addition, the research will look at various, non-Bank, ways SME’s in Ireland can source finance and to gauge the attitude of SME owners and managers to these. As part of the research, certain elements that may influence choices will be looked at. This includes availability of funds, industry, age of company and owner/manager preferences.
Each survey forms part of an overall collection of data that will be used for the thesis and the report to SBCI. Information relating to specific individuals or business will not be published or shared, even with the SBCI. The thesis itself will be a published work and there may be additional published works using this information. Again, it must be stressed that there will be no publication of any data that could be used to identify individuals or companies.
