Kathryn Kiely is Vice President for External Affairs at South East Technological University (SETU). This is an executive leadership position with responsibility for developing collaborations with regional stakeholder and enhancing strategic partnerships with the university. She represents SETU in a wide variety of research and education/skills fora interacting with industry, government departments, public sector, international investors and the European Commission.
Kathryn has a keen interest in supporting enterprise development and innovation within the South East and has led the development of a number of university and regional initiatives in this regards.
Prior to joining higher education Kathryn’s career involved working in a variety of roles in the financial services and international consultancy sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University College Cork and an MBS from UCD Smurfit School of Business.
