LAST OF THE SUMMER WINE – CHARLOTTE STREET BBQ, 5th SEPTEMBER
The 4th Annual Street BBQ to raise vital funds for the running and upkeep of Wexford’s Christmas Lights will take place on Friday, 5th September, 6 pm til late in the Stores on Charlotte Street in Wexford.
Well known local musician, John Stewart, will play from 6 – 7 pm. Anything from the 60’s through to the present will be on the song list and John will really get the party going. Next on stage will be The Unusual Suspects, an energetic, fun band that are no strangers to the stage, both big and small. The Suspects are known as one of Irelands top touring bands. With hundreds of gigs under their belts here at home and further afield, they also landed themselves No.7 in the Irish Charts in 2013 with their version of Bruce Springsteens ”The River” . You can be sure to have a great night in the very capable hands of The Unusual Suspects.
Tickets are available at our ONLINE SHOP and at O’Briens Sandwich Bars and Greenacres. Priced at €15 + VAT (€16.35) a great night out is guaranteed. Good food, great music, fabulous raffle, brilliant craic and free admission to the Stores Nighclub where you can dance the night away. BBQ and bottle of beer/mineral is included in the price
All proceeds will go towards ensuring that Wexford town looks its best and attracts Christmas shoppers from all over the South East.
