Launch of Brittany Ferries ‘Salamanca’

On Wednesday last County Wexford Chamber President Brendan Crowley and Acting CEO Emma Dunphy were delighted to attend the official launch of Brittany Ferries’ Salamanca, sustainable and luxury ship for the Rosslare to Bilbao route.
County Wexford Chamber President Brendan Crowley said “This is another significant leap forward for Brittany Ferries and the team at Rosslare Europort. The importance of Rosslare to the Irish economy continues to grow. With plans to be at the centre of renewable energy, it was perhaps fitting to see the most modern LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) powered ferry servicearrive at the port from Bilbao this morning.”
