Bobby enjoys helping social profit organisations do the right thing well. He can help in strategic planning, governance, management and capacity development, with an emphasis on participatory approaches. He has a track record of supporting learning through training, mentoring and evaluation.

Currently thematic areas include risk-informed programming resilience, the international humanitarian system, governance and tools for humanitarian action. Clients include UN agencies, the Red Cross NGO’s and donors.

Bobby has over 30 years experience in international development and humanitarian relief, much senior post, including 13 years at Chief Executive level and 8 years in universities in the UK ab Zimbabwe, researching and teaching on development issues. His work is grounded in some 15 years field experience in Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe, working in agriculture, water sanitation, environmental  research and rural technologies, and effectively in a wide variety of cultural settings.

A Chartered engineer, he has an engineering degree from University College Dublin and a Masters in Public Health Engineering from Imperial College London.
