Mindaclient, a software and business systems development company, has secured three new international contracts. The contracts will involve managing the application process for one of the most prestigious student scholarship schemes in the world.
The company came out on top of a competitive tender process to develop and manage the online application process for the Fulbright Student Exchange Programmes operated in Italy, Australia, and Ecuador.
The Fulbright Student Exchange Programme provides support which enables graduate students, young professionals, and artists to study and conduct research throughout the world.
The programme has operated internationally since 1948 and counts many internationally recognised names and 62 Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winners among its recipients. These include theoretical physicist Peter Higgs, economist Joseph Stiglitz, novelist John Steinbeck and US politician Henry Kissinger.
The signing of the new deal between Mindaclient and the Fulbright organisations comes on top of Mindaclient’s existing contracts with the Fulbright Programmes in Ireland, Portugal, and Poland.
Mindaclient: Contracts a vote of confidence
“We’re delighted to be working with the Fulbright organisations around the world,” said Brian Kelly, CEO of Mindaclient. “Our appointment to design and implement the systems in Italy, Australia and Ecuador is a vote of confidence in our ability to develop systems to manage sensitive application processes for client organisations of all sizes in a range of international markets.”
Mindaclient was founded in 2002. Brian Kelly is a qualified accountant who began his career working in Local Government. He was working as a business advisor in a Local Enterprise Office and saw a need for Customer Relationship Management Systems tailored to the needs of small and medium enterprises. Brian teamed up with forester-turned-Project Manager Robert Downes and Mindaclient was established. It quickly began working with local Irish companies.
Over the years, Mindaclient’s bespoke software solutions have developed across a range of business sectors, including education, not-for-profit organisations and businesses, with the same tailored solution approach driving every project.
Mindaclient has developed extensive expertise in managing bespoke software systems for grant and scholarship organisations. In addition to its work with the Fulbright Organisation, it numbers Irish-based clients, the Naughton Foundation and Dermot Desmond’s University Scholarship Scheme and the Heritage Council among its clients.
International expansion
As well as bespoke systems for educational organisations, the company is finalising innovative solutions for organisations of varying scales in relation to the growing business priority of stakeholder wellbeing. Mindaclient expects to announce a series of successful tender outcomes in the near future.
Brian Kelly says that having grown and developed considerable expertise in a specialist market from an Irish base initially with Irish clients, the company is set to expand internationally with the success of its recent Fulbright contract wins, a sign of positive developments to come.
“We are set to significantly increase the scale of our international footprint operations in the coming months and years and are hugely confident about the future,” he said.
