ICC World Chambers Federation is seeking nominations from our Chamber for the 2016 Oslo Business for Peace Award. If you would like to be considered, or perhaps there is somebody that you would like to nominate, please contact Madeleine and she will assist with the nomination process.
ICC World Chambers Federation would like to remind you that nominations for the 2016 Oslo Business for Peace Award are open until 15 November 2015. As your chamber is a part of the global chamber network, we kindly invite you to support the betterment of the business environment by nominating business worthy candidates from your community.
ICC National Committees and Chambers of Commerce are welcome to submit candidates from their communities who serve as exceptional business leaders with a strong commitment to ethical business practices. By doing so, you give the nominees a unique opportunity to receive the highest distinction of business worthy accomplishments granted by the Oslo Business for Peace Foundation.
Considering the important role chambers play in the society, we are certain that you are well placed to identify inspiring individuals from your community who merit consideration to be one of the 2016 Business for Peace Award Honourees. Our eligibility criteria can guide you in choosing the appropriate candidates. Please note that chambers may nominate more than one individual for this award.
Candidates will be evaluated by an independent committee, consisting of Nobel Prize winners in Peace and Economics and the Award Ceremony will take place in Oslo, Norway, on 10 May 2016.
The nomination process is web-based and the application form is available on our website: http://www.iccwbo.org/chamber-services/partnership-and-initiatives/business-for-peace/.
