Its Autumn time and the weather is getting colder. Crops are harvested and food supplies are drying up outdoors. This is the time of year that rodents attempt to gain entry into your properties for food and harbourage.

A mouse can squeeze through a hole the size of a pen and a rat can squeeze through a gap the size of your thumb. Check all pipework into your property and make sure there are no gaps. Pipes such as waste pipes, sewer pipes, gas, electric, TV cables and so on. These are easy to fill so don’t wait until it’s too late.

Make sure your external doors are properly sealed with door saddles, brush strips and thresholds as well.

Remember, the site of a rodent on a commercial premises can cause serious damage to your reputation as well as cause damage to property and stock.
