A new ‘Pro Pass’ programme from VLM Airlines now offers frequent flyers on the Waterford-Luton and Waterford-Birmingham services great value return fares of under €150.
A set of vouchers for six return flights on the popular routes can now be purchased for €898 with the flight vouchers valid for use over a six-month period.
Geared towards regular business travellers or those who commute each week to/from work in the UK, the Pro Pass will simply require passengers to book their flights at least two weeks in advance of travel by calling VLM Airlines reservations on the Irish lo-call number 076 680 55 92.
Welcoming the initiative by the airline, Desmond O’Flynn, CEO, Waterford Airport, said: “This is a great way for VLM to ensure that the most frequent flyers on their services consistently get the best value fares. The ‘Pro Pass’ will particularly appeal to the growing number of SMEs and larger companies in the southeast who do business in the UK. I regularly meet passengers at the Airport who travel multiple times each year for business and meetings in the UK.”
“There is also a small but important group of passengers who commute each week to work in the UK. The ‘Pro Pass’ frequent flyer programme will allow them to pre-book flights well in advance, as they already know which flights they need to take each week to fit in with their work schedule.”
Looking ahead to the festive season, Mr O’Flynn said: “Christmas and the New Year is always a busy and fun time at the Airport as families and friends reconnect for the holidays using our services. This year, we are particularly encouraging those in the southeast with visitors coming from the UK or who are heading in the opposite direction themselves, to think of Waterford Airport first when making their travel plans. At a time of year when larger airports can be very congested and road trips should be kept to a minimum, Waterford
Airport is hard to beat for convenience and accessibility!”
