Wexford Chamber has a new person at the helm. Enda Kavanagh has just been appointed the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer.
The Board of Wexford Chamber recently made the appointment and Enda will take up her new role on 12th March.
President of Wexford Chamber, Niall Reck, said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Enda to Wexford Chamber as its new CEO. Enda has extensive experience in various management roles including sales and marketing, strategic planning and customer relationship management. She has excellent business links, a strong track record in developing business opportunities and a deep understanding of the economic development of the Co Wexford region.’
With almost 250 members and growing, the Chamber is entering an exciting new phase according to Niall. Enda has big shoes to fill as she takes over from Madeleine Quirke, who will shortly step down as Wexford Chamber CEO after leading the organization as President and as CEO for the past 10 years.
The new chamber CEO said: ‘I am honoured to be selected as the next Wexford Chamber CEO. Wexford is a vibrant economic area with exceptional SMEs and multi-nationals. I am looking forward to reaching out to existing and potential members to build further depth and strength in our membership for the benefit of all businesses in the region. I’m also looking forward to working with Niall, with the Board and with the Staff at Wexford Chamber in making a positive contribution to the Chamber and its activities.”
