Wexford Fringe 2014 Window Display Competition
We would like to invite you to take part in our Shop Window Competition 2014. Sponsored by Wexford Credit Union, this year’s competition is open to everybody in business along the Main Street.
Windows should be dressed in a style that reflects the events and festive atmosphere of the town. The theme is up to you! Focus on the arts; music, dance, opera, comedy, drama and/or visual art. Or centre your display on anything that inspires the imagination, topical/newsworthy issues, satire etc – feel free to express your creative side and contribute to the electric ambience of the town while you’re at it! You may even get inspiration from one of the many events that are featured in the 2014 Fringe Guide. The choice is yours!!
Please have your windows dressed by Wednesday 15th October in good time for the start of the Wexford Fringe and the Opening Night of the Wexford Festival Opera. Judging will take place with results announced at the Wexford Credit Union Prize Giving Ceremony on Friday 24th October, at 6 pm.
Confirmation of entry into this year’s competition must be received no later than Monday 13th October. Entry Forms must be completed and returned to Wexford Chamber together with the €30 fee.
