Wexford Rape Crisis was set up in 1995 and offers a countywide, one-to-one counselling service to Women, Men and young people who have been affected in any way by Domestic, Sexual or Gender-Based violence.
As part of Wexford Rape Crisis’ Strategic Plan a new fit for purpose building will be constructed in 2020. As Wexford Rape Crisis’ funding does not cover any costs in relation to the build of a new premises, Wexford Rape Crisis will need to fundraise for this cost.
Wexford Rape Crisis Christmas street bucket collection will take place on Friday 20th December. Collections will take place on the streets of Gorey, Enniscorthy, New Ross and Wexford Town. All proceeds will go towards the costs of the new building.
Volunteers are needed to shake a bucket in the four towns in the County on Friday 20th December. Volunteers will work in pairs for a 2-hour slot and will be supported by a coordinator from Wexford Rape Crisis. If you would like to volunteer in New Ross, Gorey, Enniscorthy or Wexford Town please contact Clare Williams on 053 91 22 722 or clare@wexfordrapecrisis.com.
We appreciate any support that can be offered.
