Angel’s Den Pitching Competition – Take Your Place in the Audience!

We are delighted to bring the ‘Angel’s Den’ back to Wexford Business Summit on October 3rd 2018.
With businesses of all sizes experiencing difficulty in obtaining finance to start and grow their businesses, Wexford Chamber has partnered with South East BIC and the Halo Business Angel Network to match local businesses to investors, who are actively seeking companies to invest in.
This year, to make it interesting, it’s now a competition with a prize fund of €500, sponsored by South East BIC. The below four start-ups have been selected to pitch their business idea for 5 minutes in front of a panel of angel investors and answer the ‘deal breaking’ questions which the investors will pose.

The investors at this event will not only have cash to invest in the right business, but they all possess significant commercial experience which could be prove to be invaluable in the development of a business.
While some of the attendees’ busineses may not be investor ready, this will provide everybody with an entertaining overview of the investment process and will hightlight the dos and don’ts when pitching your business for investment.
The pitches will take place at 11.45am on Wednesday 3rd October in Wexford County Council, the judges will then deliberate. During deliberations, we will introduce South East BIC and HBAN to the assembled gathering and then announce the winner.
